Working in Kanazawa, a city steeped in craft traditions, Takemata began with jewelry and gradually expanded into tea utensils and cutlery. Using the tankin metal-hammering technique, he hand-forms each piece by striking metal sheets, creating objects meant to elevate everyday moments.
His cutlery is designed to make dining feel graceful, with a quiet weight and presence that harmonizes beautifully with handmade tableware—pieces that bring subtle elegance and warmth to the table.
